Discover the world of professional learning opportunities with the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT)! CASLT supports its members by promoting the advancement of language learning and teaching throughout Canada, including the creation of opportunities for professional development. Not all second language teachers have equal access to professional development support. Therefore, CASLT believes in providing high-quality and accessible professional development opportunities to its members regardless of their location or employer. This workshop will focus on current offerings for CASLT members, including the Mentorship Program, the CASLT Learning Centre, online webinars, and much more.

She has been the Projects and Professional Development Coordinator at the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) since October 2020. CASLT, established in 1970, has grown from a small team of volunteers dedicated to supporting second language teachers into a multi-level, national organization, with a mission of fostering and advancing professional excellence in the teaching of languages in Canada. CASLT supports its members by promoting the advancement of language learning and teaching throughout Canada, by creating opportunities for professional development, by initiating and disseminating research, and by facilitating the exchange of information and ideas among language educators.
