Research Projects for Students

The Personal and Social Awareness Curricular Competencies in the second language curricula are ideal for projects. Projects are a useful way to teach students many skills. These skills include how to summarize information into their own words, how to cite online sources, how to evaluate the credibility of online sources, and concise presentation skills. In this workshop, I will present various projects that I do with my students. They will mainly be for French courses at various secondary levels, but many can be adapted to other languages quite easily.
